It's not the TajMahal that's the most important - everyone knows it - but the three wise men sitting there and discussing in the morning air. They stick out so well in the whole context. Coulours or more contrast would ruin the whole effect and make it an ordinary photo tourists could make. And the whole soft atmosphere in front of this beauty is rendered so weill through the soft black and white. Details ... are important and the artistic plus!

Seems to be taken by mcCurry (in Bw), fantastic shot,
but why it's so grey, i like grey but for this one, i wish i saw this photo with more contrast

 +Andreas Heumann, Nov 23, 2009 at 00:13
mcCurry?
It was 7AM
To give more contrast would ruin the atmosphere and general feeling and subtle detail would get lost
like the subtle glare in the glasses and gentle whites in the turbans.

These people left when the sun came with 100000 of tourists.

Excellent.
 +Côme Légaut, Nov 22, 2009 at 18:24
I think that it is photoshop blurred and plugined, and that these men are american actors in front of a big poster. It is nice, so it is fake.

Héhé :)
